Case Study 1
York Technical Community College, embarked on an ambitious expansion and renovation project dedicated to equipping students with the skills needed for local employment. However, to bring their vision to fruition, they required financial support. Enter Mitre Agency, entrusted with the task of spearheading a Capital Campaign.

Tailored Engagement:
We created a personalized brochure to engage their high-end donors effectively, while lower-end donors received a thoughtfully crafted letter accompanied by a donation form through traditional mail channels.

Elevated Responsibilities:
I assumed a pivotal role in curating the high-end brochure and associated collateral within this endeavor. This campaign included creating a distinctive logo, a visually engaging brochure, a meticulously designed folder, a custom name wrap, a campaign donation card, and an outer envelope.

Customization Expertise:
To bring this campaign to life, I took the initiative to design and develop custom mechanical files, which included specialized dielines for the folder and brochure, ensuring that every element of the campaign exuded uniqueness and precision.
Step 1: Crafting the Campaign Logo
Our journey began when the client presented us with the tagline, "Real. Bold. Better." Each of our designers contributed at least one logo concept, and the client picked their favorite. The tagline encapsulated the college's passion for community enhancement, making the words the focal point of our logo. With my design chosen, I assumed the role of lead designer for their Capital Campaign.

Step 2: Defining the Brochure Cover
Our next objective was to develop various brochure cover options to establish the campaign's overarching visual identity.

Step 3: Photoshoot
To fully embody the chosen look and feel, we recognized the importance of capturing compelling images of the campus and its vibrant student life. Due to time constraints, I couldn't be present on-site but collaborated closely with a local photographer through email and phone. I provided mood boards, reference images, and an extensive shot list to ensure the successful execution of the photoshoot.

Step 4: Design & Production - Elevating the Presentation
Elevating the campaign was the next challenge. Given the brochure's vivid and colorful content, I opted for a subtle blind embossing technique on the outer folder. Using heavyweight textured paper allowed the logo to shine independently. The brochure was printed on a similar paper with a slightly lighter weight, and the logo on the brochure was also embossed. The production necessitated custom die lines, entailing a collaborative effort with the printer to guarantee flawless execution and a high-quality finished product.

The seamless integration of these steps contributed to the successful realization of a visually captivating and compelling Capital Campaign that effectively conveyed the college's dedication to making a "Real. Bold. Better" impact within their community.
